Abstract
The postoperative maxillary retention cyst is a relatively uncommon disease, which usually develops slowly from pathological mucosal remnant in the antrum after Caldwell-Luc¢¥s operation.
Its main manifestations are tender swelling on cheek, buccal sulcus, and toothache. We experienced 21 cases of postoperative maxillary cyst for recent 7 years. In this study, the clinical manifestations and operation findings were investigated, and histological analysis were performed in detail.
